All our sessions are planned personally in advance with the needs of our individual learners in mind to ensure they make the best possible progress.
We adapt sessions as we go to maximise learning opportunities, as well as recording strengths and areas to work on for subsequent sessions.
Each child has their own feedback working document which we update weekly, so you as parents, can see exactly what they have been working on and what their next steps for learning are. Parents are, of course, welcomed and encouraged to comment on this document as we know good parent-tutor communication leads to excellent results.

One to One
Our one-to-one sessions are tailored to each child’s individual needs, helping them build confidence, strengthen their skills and make meaningful progress. With 13 years of teaching and tutoring experience, we use our expertise to create engaging, focused sessions that work for your child. Whether they need support with a particular area, a confidence boost or a little extra challenge, we’re here to help them achieve their full potential.
SEN Focussed Sessions
We have extensive experience supporting children with SEN, both in the classroom and through tutoring. With First Class degrees in Psychology and Josh’s experience as a former SENDCo, we have a strong understanding of how children with different needs learn and develop. Whether your child is on the pathway to a diagnosis, already has an EHCP in place, or simply needs a little extra support, we can adapt our sessions to suit them. Our aim is to create a calm, nurturing environment where every child feels understood, valued and confident in their learning.
Paired and Small Group Lessons
Our paired and small group sessions offer the benefits of learning alongside others, while still providing plenty of individual attention. With a maximum of three pupils, we can tailor each session to the children’s needs, supporting their progress while building confidence and independence. We believe learning should be enjoyable, so we use a variety of engaging, creative and hands-on activities to keep pupils motivated and excited to learn.
11+ Preparation
Preparing for the 11+ can feel like a big step, but with the right support, your child can approach it feeling confident and well prepared. We have extensive experience preparing children for both the Maths and English elements of the 11+, helping pupils build their knowledge, develop effective exam techniques and learn useful tips and strategies to tackle the tests with confidence.
We recommend starting 11+ tuition from the beginning of Year 5, giving us plenty of time to cover the required content, identify areas for development and build confidence at a comfortable pace. Most importantly, we want children to enjoy their learning and feel proud of their progress along the way.

Home Education
We understand that every home education journey is unique, and we’re passionate about providing flexible, supportive learning opportunities for home-educated children. Having previously home educated our own child with SEN, we understand both the rewards and challenges that can come with finding the right approach for your child. We offer tailored 1:1 sessions and small group tuition, alongside our popular ‘Learning Through Games’ club. The club provides a fun and relaxed opportunity for children to learn holistically through play, develop a range of skills and, importantly, make new friends. Our aim is to make learning enjoyable, purposeful and suited to each child’s individual needs.
